Today (or actually yesterday) Andrea, Ivan, and I went to the mall, that mysterious and useless place we much like to avoid. We stopped at a calendar stand, the same one I had stopped at the day before when I adquired my Japanese Woodblock Prints calendar featuring the works of Hiroshige and Hokusai. Andrea immediately found one by Thomas Barbèy. I wish I could had seen that one yesterday. There is nothing wrong with Japanese woodblock prints but surrealist photography is just the best. Barbèy's photographies are wondrous, if not extremely haunting. That guy is a genius. I would like to learn/see how he develops his prints. I know he takes vary photos and arranges and merges them together in one but a book can't replace the experience of being there.

I really like your "Chuck" painting and the green colors.
Also, The Mars Volta is an amazing band!
